Workshop on Psychometric Computing

Date: 2009-01-23
Location: Institute for Statistics and Mathematics, Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien
Seminarraum Statistik, UZA 2, Ebene 4
Organizer: Achim Zeileis

The aim of this workshop is to bring together modern tools on the intersection of statistical inference, computional methods, and applied psychometrics. Topics of particular interest include: using and extending models for paired comparisons, combination of parametric models and recursive partitioning techniques, insight into parametric and algorithmic models. In all cases, special emphasis is given to implementation of the methods in the R system for statistical computing.
